Why wish upon a star, when you can pray to the One who created it?
O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for every sin that remained hidden from Your creation but did not escape You — for which I repented to You and You forgave me. But I then returned to it, yet You still kept it concealed for me.

تبارك من تعالى في علاه يقول لعبده اطلبني تجدني
أنا الجبار خلاق البرايا أنا الديان فاطلبني تجدني
أنا الحنان ارزق كل حي أنا القهار فاطلبني تجدني
أنا الله الغفور لكل ذنب أنا المعروف فاطلبني تجدني
أنا الهادي البديع فليس مثلي لدفع الهم فاطلبني تجدني

قـــــد اسـتـعـنـتـك ربــــــي عــلـــى مـــــداواة قـلــبــي
وحـــــل عــقـــدة كــربـــي فانـظـر إلــى الـغـم ينـجـل
يــــارب يـاخــيــر كــافـــي أحـلــل عـلـيـنـا الـعـوافــي
فلـيـس شـــي ثـــم خـافــي علـيـك تفـصـيـل واجـمــال
يــــارب عــبـــدك بـبــابــك يـخـشــى ألــيــم عــذابـــك
ويــرتـــجـــي لـــثـــوابـــك وغـيــث رحـمـتـك هـطــال
وقــــــد أتــــــاك بـــعـــذره وبـانــكــســاره وفـــقــــره
فـاهـزم بـيـسـرك عـســره بمحض جـودك والافضـال
وامــنــن عـلـيــه بـتــوبــة تغسـلـه مــن كــل حـوبــة
واعصمـه مـن شـر أوبــه لـكـل مــا عـنـه قــد حـــال
فـأنــت مـولــى الـمـوالــي الــمــنــفــرد بــالــكــمـــال
وبـالــعــلــى والـتــعــالــي علوت عن ضرب الامثـال
جــودك وفـضـلـك وبـــرك يـرجـى وبطـشـك وقـهـرك
يخشـى وذكــرك وشـكـرك لازم وحـــمدك والاجـــلال
يــــارب أنــــت نـصــيــري فـلـقــنــي كـــــــل خـــيــــر
واجـعـل جنـانـك مصـيـري واخـتـم بالايـمـان الآجــال
وصـــلِّ فـــي كـــل حـالــة عـلــى مــزيــل الـضـلالــة
مــــن كـلـمـتـه الـغــزالــة مـحـمــد الــهــادي الــــدالّ
والــحــمـــد لله شـــكــــرا عـلـى نـعــم مـنــه تـتــرى
نـحـمــده ســــرّاً وجــهــرا وبـالـغــدايــا والاصـــــــال
